To further the understanding of Scottish art we offer educational group visits on Mondays when The Fleming Collection is closed to the general public, allowing your group exclusive use of the gallery. Each group is offered an introduction to The Fleming Collection, a guided tour by one of our curators of the current exhibition as well as refreshments. The two hour time slots during the day are 10am or 2pm and evening visits start at 6 or 6.30pm.
The Fleming Collection has relaunched its food and drinks. With canapes made in-house or brought in from Canapeum, a bespoke canape service who tailor canapes to taste, budget and theme, and wine from Berry Bros & Rudd you will be able to host your group visit in style and each visit can be tailor made to your liking.
To check availability and to book please give us call and we will pencil your date into the gallery diary.
Following this we ask you for confirmation by email or by post and that you contact us a week before the event in order to confirm numbers. For security reasons we request that you bring a guest list with you on the day of the event.
Please let us know which catering option oul would like to go for so we can arrange any canapes that may be needed. If you are going for the £36 a head option, together we can select the canapes from Purple Grape and then we will order them.
We ask group leaders to note that not all our exhibitions are of paintings from The Fleming Collection. Sometimes guests will see dedicated exhibitions from our collection but our other exhibitions are drawn from private and national collections and may only include one or two of our paintings.
All group visitors will be given a complimentary copy of our magazine Scottish Art News (RRP £3.00). This magazine includes in-depth articles on current exhibitions of Scottish art taking place at the gallery and around the world, as well as sections on the Scottish Art market, full gallery listings, book reviews and events.
