City Living: Works from The Fleming Collection at Somerset House

The exhibition, celebrating the Foundation’s 10th anniverary, encompasses a broad range of subjects relating to city life. These works by historic and contemporary artists explore perceptions of public spaces and imaginary scenes as well as human activity and thought. The strong understanding of representational painting is evident in many of the paintings and characteristic of contemporary and historic Scottish art.
